The donor Family Network holds a service of thanksgiving each year for recipients, donor families and professionals in the sphere of organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This year the service is on 13th September 2015 and the aim is for people attending to share in the service which allows time for remembrance, recognition and reflection. Everyone can light a candle during the service in memory of their donor or a person who has had a transplant. The service each year is held at St Margaret’s Church, Chapel Lane, Great Barr Birmingham B43 7BA. The service starts at 2.00pm and all are welcome. After the service we have food available at the Memorial Hall Chapel Lane and extra parking is available at the Holiday Inn opposite. We would love to see as many people as possible to share in this very moving event.
